Jeff Creef is unprofessional, unskilled, unqualified and had the worst work ethic I have ever witnessed

I am an established builder on the outer banks of North Carolina and began doing business in the Hertford area. I hired an individual by the name of Jeff Creef of Creef construction and had one of the worst experiences in new construction in my life.

Jeff Creef has a terrible work ethic and even worse skills in his trade. He had a crew that showed up when they wanted to, drank beer at lunch and on more than one occasion I smelled marijuana on the jobsite. I told him that those things would not be tolerated.

The job I had given him was to construct the wood frame, install the siding and windows and shingle the roof of a 2000 sq ft house. The job took months longer then expected.

After noticing several flaws in the construction I asked him to fix them. Jeff Creef refused to fix any of his poorly done work without further compensation.

When Jeff Creef realized he was not going to recieve any more money until he fixed his mistakes he left the job and never returned. I had to bring a different crew to the jobsite and it cost me more because of Jeff Creef's performance, or should I say lack of.

I truly feel that if Jeff Creef would conduct business in that manor when dealing with a licensed builder then I can only imagine how he would treat an unsuspecting homeowner.
