Empire Carpet sheds like a mangy dog

My mom bought carpet from this company in February. At first when she vacuumed, she thought the carpet debris was just extra fibers from the install. However, each time she vacuumed, the canister filled half-full with carpet remnants. Empire sent a tech out to inspect, and of course, there was nothing wrong with the carpet! A rep suggested it was the vacuum. I have used 3 vacuums on my mom's carpet with the same results. IIn one vacuum, the canister loads up with carpet shedding! Now I have a complaint lodged against this company with Consumer Affairs! My 86 year old mom can't sleep in the bedroom. There is excessive dust which irritates her windpipe (asthma) and her sinuses. This company is scandalously fraudulent!
