Just Brakes
Ripoff scam and scare tactics

I went into Just Brakes for the regular friction reline. My brakes were a little squeaky in cold, wet weather but no obvious brake problems (i.E. Pulling to one side, grinding noises, etc).

Well I leave my car there for a while and then get a call from the guy (big, heavyset, with beard, dark brown hair) telling me that my brakes are in serious trouble. He tells me that my life is danger becuase my brakes could go out at any moment. He insists that I need $500 worth of repairs.

Well I call BS on that and tell him that my friend will do the work for me. I had him check it out, and he said the pads were fine, and that it was a total scam. I went for 6 more months before changing the pads, and there was nothing wrong with my brakes at all.

I have heard many, many complaints about that particular location in Waco. They are true scam artists and will do everything they can to draw in a sucker.

Do not go to just brakes in waco, texas!!!
