Leaves us in dark Clearwater florida

Up to a few months ago our electric bill was always pd. Then in nov we get a bill stating we owed over 800.00 and they told my husband they will need a new deposit. Our bill was pd up to date in nov then we get this notice. We looked at the billl and saw our address had been changed on the account and bad checks were sent to pay some bill. 2 bad checks. Well that was a surprise because we don't even have a checking account and they won't tell us who changed our address or who's checks they were. I emailed them since getting no where on the phone stating i needed this problem investigated we were being held responsible for something we knew nothing about.

Now they are threathing to turn our power out and we have pd every bill we owed. The 1st we pd 267.00 on the bill that was sent to us but still in the wrong address which we had told them was not our address. My husband is a diabled vetrean and has many medical problems. I myself have always worked till here lately i found out some really bad medical news that will have me to stop working. Not only will our electric be out but i feel we both will get hurt being unable to walk very good at all in the light let alone trying to walk in the dark. All this and we are the victims we did nothing but pay the bills we owed. Anyone that can help us we would appreciate it we sit scared in clearwater.
