Fraudulent company, Unauthorized Debts, Collection Billing, Scam

(Around 4 months ago) I answered a private number. This company called me around 7:30 pm and told me that I was in the running for $1,000, 000 and I had won a diamond watch. I was told that I would be billed only $49.43 for my magazines. They asked me if I had the same address and they had told me an address that wasn't even mine. I gave them my correct address, then they asked me to verify my credit card number that they said they already had on file. They told me the credit card number was only to verify who I was. Then they told me they were going to call me back. When they called back, they told me that I was being recorded. I found that odd but went ahead with it, since I had already provided and verified said information. Once the recording started I was told a lot of things that were not the same as they had told me on the first call. They ask for all my information again and stated that I would be getting my stuff in about a week or two.

I checked my bank account about an hour or two later, and they had debted $49.81 out of my account already. They did not tell me they were going to take money out of my account. My credit card was to just verify who I was. I ended up calling my bank and closing out the account because this was an unauthorized debt. As of 08-31-08, I had not received any magazines or the watch. On 09-01-08 they sent me a bill requesting the $49.81 that they had already taking from my account. I wrote them a letter telling them to cancel the order, that this money was not owed to them, and that nothing had been received. There was no response to my letter. On 10-09-08 another bill came requesting a new $99.62 for a Total of $149.43. I wrote another letter requesting this account be canceled, that I had not received anything, and that these amounts were never disclosed in the original agreement.

I want this company to quit scamming me, cancel the account like I have already asked them to do two different times, go away, and this con not to affect my credit history. I do not understand how these people are allowed to get away with this.
