We have a warranty with American Home Shield AHS, a home warranty company. Our hot water heater broke in 9/08. AHS sent GE Mechanical Inc to our home to replace the water heater. They came out twice. The receipts are dated for 9/10 and 9/17. The stated the deductible which we owed to AHS was paid in full with a 60.00 coupon we received from AHS. There was a n/c next to the labor total.
Several weeks later they sent us a bill because they said they had to have two men present to remove the water heater from our basement to our garage and they had to use plastic to cover our carpet. This was never explained to prior to the work being started. We had no idea of the charge. The fees are not listed anywhere on the receipts. We've made several attempts to resolve. Most recently, we spoke to David Brunner from GE Mechanical. No resolution has been made.
