Took my 3 weeks vacation, employee er fund, then my job of 8 years

Countrywide bought our company, (Balboa Life and Cau.), then took everybodies vacation away. Our vacation time was always available on the first of the year. I had put in for 1 week of my 3 weeks to begin on 1/1
like I did most years.

When I returned I was informed that I owed countrywide for the week vacation. They said we now had to earn vacation time over the course of the year. They ineffect took everybodies vacation time away. Some people had 4-6 weeks coming and were already taking it like I had.

We had an employee emergency fund that we contribued to every payday. When they took over they gave it away, without our knowledge.

In June my doctor took me out of work and later said it would be for at least 12 months. Within 4 months I no longer had a job. But was told I could reapply when my doctor released me to return to work.

They, along with another doctor that I do not recall every seeing, aided in my L&I claim being denied. I am still trying to get to the bottom of that one.

To maybe help consurmers with the insurance issuses, the biggest problems we ran accross was the insurance was listed under another name, and the bank not being listed as leinholder and/or additional insured. The main thing was always the name.
