No labor day pay

Adecco requires you to have 480 hours work time in 13 months and you can get 520 but the company i work for through adecco shuts down the week of the 4th july so that you have to be there and not be late or miss in that 480 hours i did that but ive been there 1 year and 4 months with perfect attendance so i got a day of paid vacation that i could use and i used it inbetween laborday and thoughs 12 weeks left me with 472 hours worked so i was 8 hours short because i used my vacation day in between labor day and the 13 weeks so they didnt pay me for labor day how is this right like taking my vacation right back away from me
