Car damage

I was driving with my 3 year old daughter on Maywood ave. Heading north towards Colorado when I turned into the ally behind the school. Just before I cleared the fence adjacent to the playground, a rock from the playground was thrown at a very fast rate of speed hitting the hood of my car as it cleared my windshield. I was so startled by the rock that I even placed one hand up to cover my face thinking it would hit my windshield. I am thankful I did not lose control in such a tight ally where I was driving and also that it did not hit my side window knowing that the rock would have surely broken my side window. I complained to them about it even took pictures of car damage, nothing was done about it.
