Our Verizon Bill contained charges for a purported operator-assisted long two minute long distance call that we never made to a number we do not recognize. The charges by OAN Services were $7.32 for a two-minute call at 10:02 pm on a Sunday evening. Unfortunately, we did not discover this bill for a phony call until we paid our monthly payment to Verizon (including the false charges to OAN. Regulators should take action against scams like this.
