Ficticious Telephone Billing Charges

My experience matched others here. I found a $27.20 charge on my Verizon bill the comprised of two $12.95 monthly charges plus tax. Verizon said that they have to allow third party charges, but deny they have a responsibility to verify them. Verizon did cancel but suggested I call OAN, which billed on behalf of Info Dial LLC (which also has similar complaints on this site). OAN gave me a name that authorized the charges. It wasn't me or any one I know and was obviously a fake name used to push through the charges. OAN said they will remove me from their lists. We'll see.
