James Perullo stole $750 from my family for a court hearing he never went to

I contacted E. James Perullo in regards to having an attorney present at a court hearing for Unemployment. He informed over the phone it would be $750 for him to attend and he would need cash or a check written out to him directly on or before the court date and that would cover the costs. I dropped off a check to his office at 7:10 P.M. And he cashed it at 7:50 P.M. That same night. He couldn't wait to take my money and screw me! 2 days later I informed him I changed my mind and don't require his assistance and he got all pissed off about this and demanded I called him for which he also billed me. I told him I was sorry and I would come by and pick up the check along with a few documents for the case. He failed to respond only until 4 days later informing me that the documents were already mailed to my home. I got the documents 2 days later along with an invoice, missing check and a balance due. It was an invoice for talking to him on the phone, exchanging a few emails. He basically screwed me over, lied to me, and billed me for make believe work he and his wife never performed! He never even returned my original documents, instead he photocopied them so he could lie and say he had to read all of them which was also a lie. He billed me 7.35 hours @ $225.00 per hour and his wife or whoever she is? For. 60 hours @ $75.00 per hour He never informed me that he was going to charge for emails or phone conversations. Also the referring lawyer who couldn't attend the hearing already briefed him about the case in a few minutes phone conversation.

This guy did nothing for me and stole my money. I am not only out of work, but I just had a crooked lawyer basically hold a gun to my forehead and rob me in front of my wife and children. I can never trust another lawyer again after what this man did to me and my family. I'm broke, angry and want to be heard! I can't imaging who many other victims have fallen to his scam. I never even met the guy in person, he wasn't in the real estate office when I showed up. Yes, he seems to be running a couple of companies and scamming innocent victims. It was a weird office and some strange guy came out of a back room to take my check and papers. I felt very uneasy and should have trusted my gut feeling!
