Consumer Portfolio Services - Irvine, CPS got me fired and now wants more money! Class Action suit requested against them. Irvine

As alot of people have fallen onto hard times lately, I had too. My company had to reduce my wages because they were on hard times too, which caused me to have to break my monthly payments into to two payments per month. CPS did not like this.

The first month was Jan. Of 2008 and by Feb. 2008 I was being harrassed constantly. With mulptiple calls from them to my phone, my work, and my contacts. Keep in mind I was making a full payment every month it was just broken up into two payments.

By April things had gotten so bad that my ex had to change his number, and I was fired from my job because of the harrassment and relentless calls every day. Some days up to 20 calls. I was yelled at, cussed out, called a "b*h", hung up on, threatened.in fact I still am. I am now a month behind on payments because they got me fired and will not defer a payment like any other company in the known universe would. I have tried refinancing but because of the job length now I can't get it.

I am at the point where I would rather give back my Mini, (and I love this car) then deal with them ever again. I am still trying to work something out, without giving them any more personal information but I don't see where anythng is going to get better.

I am looking, seriously, for a group of people who are willing to join into a Class Action lawsuit against this company, and take it down. To where they can not do this to anymore people EVER AGAIN!!! And a lawyer who is willing to take this on Pro Bono and take a 40% of the settlement. I am not in this for the money at all. I just want out from underneath them and make sure no one deals with them again. I am sure anyone that has gone through the dealings with this company feels the same way. It's principle and ethics.
