Landlords beware of a James F. Johnston who may be searching for a property management position in the Long Island, NY areas. DOB: July XX, 1960, SS#, Height: 6' 2", brown curly hair & mustache. This individual is now unemployed & homeless. He rented a furnished one room apartment from us with the agreement he would maintain our business and home properties to work off his rent. Work was done unsatisfactory or not at all due to drug and alcohol abuse. $17,000 was stolen from a corporate credit card, money was embezzled from contractor's payroll, and all of the furnature was stolen from the furnished apartment. 12 months of criminal and civil court proceedings and heavy lawyer fees finally got this man out of our apartment. Landlords beware!
