Alarm rip off, liar, unresponsive

One day there is a lady knocking on my door offer me a free installation alarm system. She told me every thing is free (installation, equipment, etc.) It was sound good. However, later on she said there is a contract that I have to sign. I saw a notice written 3 days for cancellation. I ask her, she said you can cancel any time if you dont like it. She did not mention about penalty or any thing. She also told me that the equipment will be on when power out. I got the alarm set up. The technician left a big hole on my ceiling (so unprofessional). My husband had to fill it later.

My husband doesnt want the alarm because my mother stays home all the time watching my babies. Five days later, I call the company to cancel the account. I found out that I have 3 years contract cant cancel unless I paid the whole amount (about $1600 dollars). And if I close my credit card account that I was setting to pay monthly, they will put me on the collection. So I have to stick with the alarm for 3 years. I called the seller and asked her why she didnt tell me about the penalty. She said she didnt know about that. (How come a seller doesnt about this) shes a liar.

Last month, suddenly power went off, I noticed the alarm didnt on either. I called the company the representative sent me to technician whom I have never gotten contact. I kept waiting and waiting. I called them 5 times again, and I got the thing, waiting.

I am so tire of this service. The alarm doesnt work when power off. What a protection for emergency. I paid for nothing. Dont ever, ever sign up with this company. Beware of sale alarm people.
