Southwest "promises" they didn't charge my credit card

Alright so I go to the ticket desk in Norfolk to pay the difference in a ticket and they immediately run my credit card three times.
Since I only had enough at most for twice as much as the amount owed it was denied on the third try. At this point the ticket agent asked if I had cash. I asked her how many times she ran my card to which she replied "none"
Well when I got home the transaction history showed two pending transactions from Southwest Airlines for the thirty dollars I had paid in cash.
When I attempted to contact Southwest airlines the first operator asked for my credit card info. When I told her the call was being recorded and I wanted her to verify for the record that Southwest Airlines would not attempt to process another transaction on my card, she refused to guarantee that there would not be any charges placed on my card.
I told her I needed to speak to the manager. A woman named Megan answered the phone and then told me that there was no way they could stop the pending transaction. Being a man of common sense, if you can do something but not undo the thing then it seems to me that Southwest needs to be asking it's customers if it is alright to run a card more than once.
I consider this to be blatant theft on their part and would welcome contact from any attorney as I will be suing the company if at all possible for the amount of the transactions and whatever punitive damages can possibly be added for the inconvenience of having 50 dollars taken out of my pocket without my permission and the outright refusal on the part of Southwest Airlines to rectify the situation.
I have also filed a report with the better business bureau and will be contacting the Media to publicly shame them into better policies when it comes to tampering with a customers finances
