Took money from my account with out my approval

I was contacted by phone and told that I had been chosen to recieve a ladys diamond watch, 3 free magizines and a list of popular magazinesif I wanted to chose more in the future. I asked how much will it cost me. They said it would cost me nothing. The mans name was john taylor. Then later (15mins) another man named marc hamil called to confirm what john had told me. He read off my debit card number and asked if that was correct. I told him yes. He told me they would not be charging me or my account anything. It did'nt occur to me how they got my number or that they would be able to charge anything to my account. About an hour later I went on line and seen a charge for 43.00 from UPA, I went directly to the bank to try and have it stopped but could'nt...
