Lottery winning ripoff

I received a letter stating I had won the National Lotto sweepstakes, with that letter was a check for $4,983.98. They said cash the check, send them $2,996.— for the Government taxs/fees... Thank goodness my USPS worker advised me he had received the same letter and found it was fraud.
