I also recieved the same letter containg a check for 4995.99 and asking that i cash it and send back 2995.99. Upon investaging it is a fraud, for one thing along the bottom the check number was 1st instead of the routing number. If you cash it you will be responsible for the 2995.99 and could be in trouble with the law for casing a fake check.
