Total ripoff, misleading apt. Showings, bad managment, move out screw-overs

These apts. Are to be avoided at all costs. They often try to cater to young students who attend MMI located across the street. When shown the apts, you are led to beautiful models located directly near the pool, shown the free work - out room and given the grand show.

Time for a reality check! Your unit is nowhere near as nice as the model, it will generally be located far from any amenities and you are charged a $50 fee for the KEY to the workout room! The forms you are required to fill out to rent there rival any house buying contract in length and ass-covering baloney.

When you try to move out you are charged for trying to clean a carpet that is so cheap the fibers never stop pulling out with just walking across, never mind trying to shampoo! When I made the effort to let them know the things we were having trouble with, I was called a liar! Why would I bother trying to contact them, if I was trying to decieve them?

Then we are notified a month later, that we have been sent to collections for not paying a fee for the carpet that we had never been sent any billing for! We are proffesionals in our 50's with a credit report in the 800's. We have never had a negative spot on our credit. We were using the apt. As a vacation get away! Hah! This place turned into a nightmare to deal with! Calls are not returned, phone numbers to the corporate office are not given and when they get tired of hearing from you, they just endlessly send you to voice-mail!

They have insultingly poor business practices and the most impudent management people you can imagine. Please heed our hard lesson learned and avoid the temptation to deal with these apartments!!
