Overdraft fee ripoff Minneapolis

I was chraged 10 overdraft fees on my account because one item would have put my avaiable balance below zero. Because of the one item all items not cleared yet were assessed an overdraft fee. The fees are 37.50 each, this is a total of $375.00. I went abck and forth with the bank reps. And ended up getting nowhere with them. I had pointed out that when the items cleared there was a positive balance which was even listed that way on line by their own records. But since my account showed a negative avaiable balance all the items were charged a fee. This is absolutely criminal and fraudulant. If there is anyone out there willing to pursue this further, I would certainly be interest. If I had writen 10 checks instead of using my check card ten times, the only item that would have been assessed a fee would be the last one. I think the banks certainly know what they are doing in regards to screwing hard working people.in todays world every penny counts and it is very upsetting when we are taken advantage of. If a stranger took $375 out of my account there certainly would be some jail time involved. People make mistakes as I did when figuring my balance, all I am asking for is some honesty from the financial institution that is supposed to be looking out fo rmy best interests. Maybe this report should be directed at banks in general, I have heard several horror stories regarding almost every other bank you can think of. I am tired of being taken advantage of!
