Fake money grants

I recieved a letter in the mail that said I had won a grant in the amount of 39000.00. There was an enclosed check for the taxes on the money. It said I only had a few days to claim my money or they were going to give it toa local charity in my state or province. I didn't cash the check it doesn't take a fool to see that it was all a scam.
