Dream Home Nightmare

Built a new home to escape having home problems. We were overcharged subjected to continual price increases and two to four times retail prices on certain items. The worst, of many, are broken HVAC unit, too cold in winter, auxiliary heat stays on but not heat, too hot in summer.

Excess water infiltration into our sump pump and serious excess water problem and we have heard three different excuses by builder. Since we moved in our pump has kicked on-off-on again averaging more than once per minute until about 10 days ago where it was running about 3 times every five minutes with 10's of 1000's of gallons of water pumped out, pump finally burned. We replaced on our own with stonger pump and minimal water present in our sump pit.

In spite of paying $11,000 for fill and fill taken from our property, fill was never placed under front stairs or around bilco door. Target should be made accountable for mistakes they have caused. Our home is literally falling apart at the seams.
