Steven Frosti aka, Acrylicman Excuses and ignored emails went on for over 7 months. No refund, no product arrived! Ohio columbia station

Hello...

Over seven months ago, I ordered a custom made bird cage made from acrylic from Steven Frosti (aka, the Acrylicman). I am always careful with online transactions, but perhaps I should have been more careful this time around. I had done a lot of research which came up with a lot of results stating that his work was beautiful, but he takes a LONG time to ship, and has a lot of excuses but it DOES arrive...

The communication was great before he received the money, of course. After this, I was given excuse after excuse on what was going on with the cage. First it was 'shipping' or it was 'shipped'. Then it was 'I don't know what's going on, let me look into the project'. After this it was followed by 'I'm going through a big move' and then 'I'm having some personal issues'.

For seven months I was beyond patient with this man. I figured it may sooner get my my product! $300 is a lot to spend, and I couldn't bare the thought of losing it...

And now over seven months later, he ignores my phonecalls, and emails. I WAS upset, frustrated, let down... But now I am furious. Upon further research I have learned that I am not the only one... There are many more who have lost $500-$800 on this guy. I urge you all to write about it here so that we can save other people from making the same mistake.

I don't believe I will ever see my money. Yet, somehow I am still bothered so greatly about the principle. Please stay away from this man! He is quoted as being a 'flake', a 'smooth talker' and a very good 'con artist'. People like him make me never want to trust again... I hope karma takes good care of this unprofessional low life!
