Capital One Credit Card
Won't give me my money!

In August I cancelled my Capital One Credit Card after our vacation. I paid the final bill in full. After paying off the account I realized my rental car amount was much larger than we had been quoted. So I contacted the rental car company and they agreed. They credited back over 1200.00 to my account.

I have called the company every month since and still have not received my money. The first time they said to wait 90 days, the second time they said give it a little more time, diddo the third time, the fourth time she said the check was in the mail, the fifth time (today), they said because we cancelled when a rate increase was going into effect we had some kind of hold on our account, but they would turn it over to someone? It is January 15th over 5 months since I cancelled this card and I still can't get my money. This can't be right what kind of company is this? What can I do? I want my money!!!
