I have been ripped off and want my money back

I was called on the 1st of august saying that i was approved for a 2500.00 credit card all that they would need would be a one time only check for 29.95 and then i would recieve a packet in the mail telling me about all the benefits i would recieve.

I recieved the packet via mail on the 26th i looked it over and decided that i didnt want the credit card because of all the other fees that they would take (59.95 & 99.95). I called the company and cancelled the card and the next thing i know i have 160.00 taken out of my account which i did not not authorize.

I immediately called the company and demanded the money back, they put me on hold several times, and gave me the run around, stating that they could not give me my money back that the corprate office is the only one that could do this. So i asked to speak to the supervisor. Not only did i not get to speak to a supervisor they hung up on me.

I called back and still got the run around. But they gave me a fax number and told me that i had to fax the corperate office giving them proof that they were the ones that took my money out of my account before they would consider giving me my money back.

What kind of business are these people running. It's my money, I did not authorize any one to take this money out of my account and now would like it back.
