Early Nov. I heard my neighbor (our units share a common wall. No soundproofing at all) running wires inside our common bedroom wall. I began calling mgmt 11/11/07. No one would check on this. From there, he ran wires into the utility closet, again a shared wall. He was in there for weeks wiring, pounding pipes, screwing things in. All this time I was calling mgmt. Almost everyday. I have all the phone records.
Finally on 1/2/08, the neighbor pushed a big metal cable from his side of the wall into my side. Again I called maintenence, Tim came out and immediately went next door (#303). Since there is oly a single wall, I clearly heard him pulling out wires, unscrewing things, banging pipes. I ran outside and saw him running in and out of the perpetraitor's apt. With the wire and other stuff in his hands.
When Tim finished in about an hour, I called him to see what he found. He had the nerve to lie to me and say he was never in there. I said I saw you. He said he was in another unit. Lies. Lies, Lies!!!
The next morning the police came out, I called, and then Tim lied to the cops too. (Copley, OH Police Dept.) My KWHS have doubled twice in the past months. I am permanently disabled and live on SSDI. I cannot afford to pay for two apts electric bill, but that is what the management wants me to do.
I also had gasoline poured over my car while parked in my garage.
The reason I am writing this is to warn all people looking to live in North Eastern Ohio. DO NOT GO TO SUMMIT RISE APTS! They look nice from outside, new and all, but they shake, they move when you walk in them, no insulation (very little) no soundboard, and now we learn anyone can gain access into your unit through the walls.
I am leaving soon. The place is 3/4 emty... Any wonder??? Stay away!!!
