This business charged me $10,098.95 for massive advertising of a business and didn't do any advertising what so ever

Miscellaneous

I was contacted and offered a web site that I had to pay someone else $30. Per month for, that I had to cancel by the first month. Because Advanced Media who was charging me first of all $98.95, paid to them, to be able to get the website, then $10,000. For massive advertising that they never did do any of for me. They guaranteed to advertise on at least 2,000 search engines (I didn't know there were so many) for 2 years for the $10,000. Fee. And garanteed that at least 200 people would click into, or visit, my website.

I told the lady who contacted me repeatedly that there was no way I could possibly consider or afford such an expense. I am not usually taken in or convinced by another if or when it is too much for me to consider. However, the lady was pushy and insistant that I let her tell me more, as I tried to hang up on her several times. She also insisted that I tell her how much I would like to earn per month. I told her I felt that was a ridiculous question, as one would like to earn an impossible sum. As I siad she insisted I give a figure. I finally said $5,000. Would be nice to be able to make. She strongly suggested that I would easily be able to earn more than twice that, and very soon.

Now, the lady was smart enough to know just how to say exactly what she wanted to get across to me. And have it actually be pretty much an absolute certainty, literally have me convinced it was really a quarantee, yet so as not to be able to be quoted word for word, real well. Worse yet I feel like a dumb dumb for not taking notice most of what she told me wasn't stated on the papers. I usually don't miss such things.

The website was to take applications for loans that would be sent out to at least 200 loan companies, with a far better than average chance of the applicant being able to receive the loan. Every loan that would get accepted I was to receive $500. Now I was not to have to do anything, as the $10,000. Fee was for all that advertising.

Now imagine, to be advertised on over 2,000 search engines, there should be at least a few people who would visit my site.in fact there should have been quite a few. Whether they applied for a loan or not. After approximately 25 days I asked two friends to visit my site so I could tell if it was working. Each did visit, and the site showed the 2 visits.

I am certain that if not a single person visited my site in nearly a month it was very clear that Advance Media was not doing any advertising for me, let alone the guarantee of at least 200 people visiting per month. So before a month was quite up I attempted to reach the lady who gave me the big lie, that I had only spoken to once or maybe twice, as best I remember. About all I was ever able to do was reach people in the office a few times that were not able to be of help to me. I was requesting a refund, because I was sure no advertising had been done. Shortly after those attempts to have messages passed to her, that she did not respond to, I was never again able to reach anyone, or even leave any voice mail messages. After multiple trys with no answer I could do no more.

I then tried to have my credit card company dispute the charges, but they tell me that since I gave my c.C. # and agreed to purchase the biz and signed papers stating this agreement they can not make Advanced Media refund my large sum of money. Yet they did not keep their part of the agreement.

After Advanced Media had my money, and my agreement on paper, they did nothing for me, and when I requested a refund for lack of their part of the agreement they not only denied the refund, but denied me the ability to contact them again. I then canceled the website as I didn't wish to be out even more money by going into another month, (another $30.). I have now been trying for several months to get my c.C.Co. To dispute and credit back these charges to no avail.

Is there anyone else out there who has also had a bad experience with this biz, located in Scottsdale Arizona?
