All Posters.com
Allposters.com Shorted order then lied about it

Miscellaneous

Placed online order for ten (10) "Greetings from Burlington, Vermont" (refrig.) magnets. Received only nine (9) and an AC/DC bandana with no explanation.
Contacted customer service by phone ("John" 1-888-654-0143) who checked, said he would put the one missed magnet on a rush order and it should be out the next day. Nothing arrived.

Called customer service again (same number, "Kitana") said she checked the order and said "nine magnets were sent because that is all they had and they didn't expect any more to be available anytime soon".

My belief is that All Posters.com did NOT have ten (10) magnets at the time my order was accepted, hence the nine (9) magnets and the unexplained AC / DC bandana. They never advised me they could not fill my order and never gave me the opportunity to cancel it (which I would have done had I known from the beginning that I couldn't get all ten magnets). The magnets were gifts to friends from a Vermont trip I took.

When I received the nine magnets, I distributed them to nine of the ten people and it wasn't a problem because the tenth person was off work for a few days. I thought I would get the tenth magnet and give it to the person when they came back to work... No problem. Since the tenth magnet was not available (and most likely never was) it put me in a very embarassing position.

Allposters.com credited my Visa for the one missing magnet but, despite having gone through the BBB complaint process, has refused to refund any other part of the ($89.80) total charge. They say I can return the magnets for credit but I can't do that since I already passed them out to my friends. That decision was made based on the information given my by Allposters that the tenth magnet would be shipped out "rush" the next day (first customer service call).
