Periodicals Aka US Magazine unauthorized charges

I was contacted several days ago by PERIODICALS saying that I had been sponcered by mastercard for a chance to win 1 million dollars, and had already won 2 free magazine subscriptions and a diamond watch. They talked to me for awhile congratulating me then said that i had to pay for 2 other ones to receive the free ones. I asked why couldn't I get just my 2 free subscriptions, and if I could cancel at anytime. They kept running circles and confusing me, pressing it. I understood it was 3.83 a month for the 2 and I said I suppose so. They asked me to verify my mastercard number, i was nervous about it and the sales person assured me it was only to verify. He said are you nervous cause it is over the phone I said ya. He made me feel safe at giving it as I understood it was to verify not to be charged. Before the conversation was over i changed my mind and specifically stated several times that if i had to pay for the magazines, that i did not want them, i felt i shouldn't have to pay for something that is supposedly "free". My credit card was charged for $49.81 without my permission, i recieved a call from them today to ask which magazines i would like, and when i told the representitive on the phone that i had told the salesperson beforehad that i did not want the magazines she was extreamly rude, constantly cut me off, and ended up hanging up on me... I don't want their magazines, i just want my money back... And to top it all off they didn't even have my real name (i NEVER fill anything out with my real name over the internet... Even here) they charged my credit card under my online alias which just goes to prove their scamming people... I called them up a 3rd time, they say that they cancled the subscription and that the transaction shouldn't complete (it was still pending when i 1st noticed the charge) but that yet remains to be seen.
