Two men came to my door selling magazines to help other students that couldn't pay for the trip to Italy for architecture school at OSU. They were going to donate one magazine to Rainbow Babie's and Children's Hospital

Miscellaneous

Two men came to my door on October 5. They said their parent's lived a street over and they were in school at Ohio State University. They said they were selling magazines to help other students that could not afford to pay for a class trip to Italy. They asked me to buy one magazine and then buy another magazine to donate to Rainbow Babies and childrens Hospital. I gave them a check for $96.00.

The next day I recieved an e mail from our homeowner's association saying that there were four men in the development selling magazines. A neighbor noticed they were acting suspicious and went back into the woods after leaving a home. The police found that the magazines they were selling were a fraud. I filed a police report and cancelled my check.
