Scammed!

Miscellaneous

"Charlene Lewis" came to our door and my husband purchased a magazine called "interview" from her for $44.00 on 1/29/07. We are a military family who just purchased our home off base and have been comfortable buying items from children (mainly military children)- never had a problem before. However, we took a chance on someone who we thought was part of the community (our fault for not asking more questions) but we have not seen a magazine yet.

The money - if the person really needed no big deal, but the lying and not keeping with the contract that's stealing and that Stinks! It will definitely make us more careful the next time someone comes to our door trying to sell items... For any reason. We still have receipt and would be more than happy to scan to company... However, none of the phone numbers work, nor can I find an email address for their company. The 120 to 160 days allowed for delivery has certainly passed.
