Inadequate renewal notification process Ripoff

Money electronically withdrawn from my account on April 2 was taken without proper notice.ccA claims that they sent me a renewal notice via US mail Service. I was told that it stated my need to give written notice for cancellation prior to April. I called the credit service! 800 760-4045 stating I had no knowledge of a renewal letter they stated that if I had not received it would have been returned to them. I am willing to pay nothing to this company whom should be required by law to notify via certified mail as I did not receive their alleged renewal notice. They were completely unreasonable on the phone and I was forced to pay 66$ in stop payment fees and close my bank account and other than my initial subscription to their services Never I repeat NEVER used any of their services yet they are still sending me bills... Is this legal... If yes how do we change laws to shut crooks like CCA down???
