NMS Magazine Subscription renewal scam

I received a magazine "renewal" form for a magazine my boss subscribes to. This was shortly after I was hired and I got the okay from him to send a check to the company for the renewal. Because it is a magazine they subscribe to. A month or so later I received an actual renewal notice from the magazine.By the time the real renewal notice was received the check to "NMS" had already cleared the bank and the damage was done. This is a serious new scam and need not be taken lightly. I can imagine there are a lot of people that they are getting $30 checks from regularly for not doing anything, except taking advantage of people.
