Cbs Ripoff i have accepted calls with a high connection fee only to have the phone disconnect instantly forcing to pay another connection fee to get a call

Well first thing i would like to comment on the whole dont commit the crime if you cant pay for the crime idea. Well first thing first you all should be grateful for the inmates and their familys putting food on your tables & paying your bills. Second of all dont take our money if you dont provide the service. This week i have paid 250.00 (prepaid) only to find a block on my line so my husband cant call. And when i call to have it resolved i get an "im sorry there is a problem with our system and you balance is -4.56.

I made two payments of fifty dollars with an $8.00 "service charge" on each payment. Which i payed online and really only intended to make 1 payment of fifty the 8.00 fee. (but thats not even the problem) the problem is when i called a rep. And asked her she said they are having system problems and her computer told her i have a different balance but she was not able to disclose my balance & she couldent transfer me to any one who could, and there is no phone number to any supervisor. (hard to belive for a phone company who owns so many phones!!!) but i was informed that i could write to them, im having a hard time beliving that supervisors spend there days opening mail? And even harder to belive they respond to all of the letters. So what i want to know is howcome i payed 24.00 this week alone in service fees and have yet to get any service? In the past 5 months i have paid over 3,000 for phone calls and i cant seem to get the services i have paid for in advance.

The next issue i would like to adress is the connection fee im not going to bother complaing of the high cost, although i do have a comment about paying a connection carge of a 1.50 for the 1st min. Only to have the phone hang up as soon as the call is accepted forcing another charge to reconnect. This happens quite frequently to me. I wish there was another company providing the same service it might encourage better customer service since we do pay for it.
