MWI CONNECTIONS MEMBERWORKS, INCORPORATED MWI ripoff, enrolled me in something I denied, renewed me when I asked for refund, and still haven't credited my acct, causing snowball affect in my checking acct. Ripoff fraud business

On 7/9/02 a charge appeared on my online bank statement reflecting a charge of 109.95 from MWI connections, 800-568-2386 CT. It was late the night of 7/15/02 that I noticed it.

I wanted to know exactly what this company was, so I did an online search. What I found, was a site dedicated to consumer protection, and a whole lot of people that had been scammed by this company.

When I called the next morning, I spoke to a young man by the name of STEVEN, who, after several minutes of trying to SELL me what I had refused to begin with, finally agreed to refund my 109.95.

On July 24, since I still did not see the credit on my account, I called them back. This time a young lady by the name of NIKI took my call. I explained the situation to her, and she apologized for the inconvenience. She also said that on the day that I first requested a refund, that it had been renewed instead of cancelled. She then told me it was taken care of and I should see a credit within a couple of weeks. (my dealings in the past with crediting a bank account have been within DAYS, not WEEKS).

This has caused a "snowball effect" in my checking account; bouncing 5 checks, and causing overdrafts of 2, to the tune of $200 in NSF and overdraft fees.

I have filed complaints with the atty general, the FTC, and have also notified my bank of the situation and "hot-carded" my debit cards.

These people need to be stopped!!!
