MWI Connections, MWI Homeswork My privacy was invaded by theses people ripoff abused & mistreated

On 5/24/02, I had to charges from my checking account (using my debit card). One was to MWI Connections and the other to MWI Houseworks. Both in the amount of $96.00 EACH. I called my bank to find out what this was and they gave me the 1-800 number to call. I called & asked them what the nature of their business was and they told me that they offer discounts for services, then told them that they charged my account without my authorization and that I wanted a refund.

Little stammering girl didn't know what to do, they told me that they would offer me a refund for the $96.00 charged twice to my account but this is the kicker of the whole situation. Because it was taking directly out of my checking account, I had checks that didn't clear my account, now gee, are they going to pay for that! No, and one happened to be my mortgage payment... So what happens now... My mortgage is in DEFAULT.

I asked the young lady, how did they get my information and she told me she didn't know. I know that it had to be from this shopping channel that I had ordered something from and I know I REFUSED every other offer that they tried to give me.

So now, someone out there GAVE my PRIVATE information to a company without my knowledge and now is charging my account. Isn't this just great... I hope a lawyer decides to read this and understand that these people need to be stopped.

I did file a complaint with the BBB in Nebraska but know nothing will come of this... This was a FRAUD and VIOLATION OF MY PRIVACY. I will be taking these people to court and I hope that others will join me in my quest!!!
