Swiss lottery ripoff scam held in bern switzerland

I received a letter in the mail stating Swiss Lotto Certificate of Award. The lettter state that I had won USD $86,000 (MINUS)$6,020.00 (7% sponsor's commission) in a Swiss International Lottery Programs.

I first had the wholeheart feelinh that this was a scam, but because a check of $2,935.00 was enclosed which was for tax and clearance fee, I decided to call the number.
When I spoke to one of the representative thing seems pretty shakey.

So I ask her when I placed the check into my bank and it clear how do you go about getting the money and (2) when do you send out the winning check? She stated once I call and her back and said the check cleared. I would send the money to a designated address and than they check would be mail to my address.

So, I went to a friend because I still had doubts. He called the company and the representative stated the same thing. So he said just tell your bank to assure the check clear the bank prior to placing in your account.
Me, being the person I am sstill had doubt, but I went to the bank and told the bank rep. To make sure this check clear. No, I don't want it in cash but I want it to clear first.

Afterward, I came home a search the Internet, even through my friend assured it wasn't a ripoff and behold IT IS A SCAM.

Please don't fall for this scam, do not send them the money instead instead send them a consumer complaints and play it smart.
