Ripoff abused & mistreated

I have worked for burris for 4 years, three of which, i never missed a day, or was tardy. I injured myself at work and attempted to get things taken care of without an attorney. I was ignorant and trusting, it took almost 3 months to get an accident reporet filled out. I finally had to get an attorney. To make a long story short, i had surgery was out 8 months, and wanted to return to work. The doctor had given restrictions to not be in temperatures below 55 degrees. The company said they had no work besides working in these temperatures.

They "OFFERED" me a job but expected me to take a 5 dollar pay cut, and when i denied it they told the workers comp.insurance carrier i "REFUSED" the job. I am a union member and did not have to take the job. All of my progress evaluations are good to excellant, but after my accident i got a very low scoring evaluation, and comments that defame my character.

After my surgery the operations manager came to my house and told me he and everybody in the main office thought i was playing about my injury. This made me feel used and extremely mistreated. I continue to work at the company with the hopes of maybe being respected for the wrong done to me and the fact i am a good employee.
