Ripoff did not pay me for work completed

United builders did not pay me for framing house. He kept on telling me different days he would pay me but he kept on giving different excuses and did not pay me.

I trusted him because he paid me for completing 3 other houses. When I called his partner to tell him about the situation and told him i would get a lien on the house or take them to court, he angrily said was i trying to tick him off and ended by saying take us to court.

How can I do that when I did not have a contract because I truted him because he had paid me for the other houses i completed.

This is so hard for me to accept because I worked really hard and lost money because I had to pay my workers out of my pocket.

I hope I can find out if there is something I can do to get paid.
