Ripoff will not pay earned wages

Kirby builders poorly managed. Unable to build house in timely fashion because labor quits when not paid as per agreement.

I quit after 3 months of late paydays, bounced checks, and 5 carpenters quit for same reasons. After more than 30 days I still have not been paid for my last week of work.

I drove 75 miles to the job and kept the job going week after week inspite of credit holds on lumber and the rest of the crews quit because they did not get paid on payday. I was not paid travel time or gas allowance. It was a two hour drive there and two hours back without compensation.

Gas prices increased 50 cents from the time we started the job. When the framing was completed I spoke with him about driving and gas he said to feel free to look for work elsewhere. When payday came and went without getting paid I quit June 2nd. I complied with his requests to provide receipts for pay received and invoice for unpaid wages and still have not been paid.

Don't work for Kirby Builders. Don't contract them to build a house or you will regret it.
