Dyson Vacuum Rebate Denied as Time Period Elapsed

Purchased a new Dyson cleaner that had a 10% rebate, filled out paper work the next day, and several weeks later was sent a letter stating the time period had elapsed. Contacted Sears, told there was nothing they could do. Rip-off
