Ripoff, unethical, holding my phone numbers and lines hostage

Beware!!!

I hope you are reading this before you change over and become a victim of this unethical frustraing scam by Vonage. This company can give you an enourmus amount of stress. I believe their employees are trained on how to take over your phone lines and hold them hostage. If you try to cancel your service they will make a night mare out of your life for several weeks. They want you to beg them to re-instate your service with them. The fastest way to get your phone back on is to switch back to them after you cancelled and were unsatisfied the first time around. This is one of the better scams I have seen in the 43 years of my life. When you try to get your lines tranfered back to your original carrier, they bind you up with this so called "3rd Party" 'Port Carrier Company' that can take up to 3 - 4 weeks before they release your lines back.in the meantime you have no phones at all!

I run a small business out of my house with 2 phone lines and it has now been over a week since my phones have rang. My business totally relies on the phone and it is slowly sinking because of the "hostage held line scam" that Vontage runs. The person I have been dealing with in "Executive Response" (that is what they call it, you can imagine the name I have for it) his name is Louis Vejar, his is not human. He must have a prevously prepared list of answers to the question and comments I make and he thinks he has all the answers. (my guess is that this is part of his training) Answers that I would never tell another human and be able to sleep at night. He is totally unethical, inhuman and nonproductive. He won't give me the name or contact information of this so called "3rd Party Port Carrier Company". When you tell him you will report him to the proper authorities, he answers "you do what you feel is necessary" and could care less. We have spent nearly 40 hours on cells phones ad other lines trying to resolve this. This is not the customer service that anyone deserves, so please go elsewhere for your phone service as you were warned!!! My guess is they won't be around too much longer if we all report them. Oh did I mention the fact that Jeffrey A. Citron the CEO of Vonage, was indicted for Securities Fraud in 2003.
