If your ever thinking about renting at any Buffalo Highlands Apt, or any of the "Highlands" properties in Las Vegas, READ THIS FIRST!

I lived at the West Charleston location, 2 buildings down from the management office. I lived there more than 2 years. I was a good tenant, I paid my rent early and always took care of the place like it was my own. I worked very long hours afternoon thru early morning hours and slept during the day till about noon.

This owner is from CA and has the standard CA business attitude, take it or leave it. The arrogance shows in the management who has the same attitude.

I had considerable valuables and cash in the apt at any given time. I had nice stuff, and wanted to keep it. I filed the do not enter with the office. I wanted to be present if anyone needed to enter, other than a bonafide emergency. This is a tenants legal right in NV. It is not optional.

From day one they violated the order. They had more excused to enter than I have ever seen. They thought it was inconvenient to make prior arrangements with me to enter, so the maint people and even contractors just grabbed the keys and came in whenever they felt like it! I notified them several times and always got the take it or leave it attitude.

So, Finally after 2 years of stress due to this harrassment, I cleaned the place up, made sure everything was in good shape, and moved out. No notice.

Now they are trying to collect a bunch of money they are not entitled to, and I have them cold. I have witnesses.

These idiots are in for a big suprise now. Arrogance and stupidity are a very bad combination.
