They used my services as a translator, proofreader, typist and didn't pay

I worked for this company for about six months, translating and proofreading medical articles. Later on, they asked me to do a different kind of work for them, extracting some information from data tables. I did the project, and we agreed on a certain amount per table, which totalled $906 at the end.

I have been waiting for this project's payment since March. I sent several reminders, for which I got late responses with weak excuses every time. The last email I sent to them was at the end of September in which I told them that I will stop sending further emails and will understand that they won't pay if I don't get a response that day. Of course I didn't get any response and they never contacted me after that in any way.

I want to warn everybody from working with them and if anybody can help I will appreciate this.
