This company will tell you that you have won a vacation or some other such story.

They will then verify your information, and tell you that they need your checking account number to verify you are able to take advantage of their offer.

They will tell you that you are not giving them a check number so they can't charge you.

This is a lie.

Electronic checks can be drafted with any series of numbers.in fact electronic checks can be drawn on the same number reperatedly. Your Checking account number is enough information for ANYONE to draw an electronic check against your account.

Save yourself the time and trouble of filing a disbute with your bank.
