Fraud, Ripoff of the Disabled Christ Church

I am a 51 year old, 100% permanently disabled person. I was contacted by GSI, Grant Service, Inc., and "informed" that due to my income and disability status, I was to receive a "Guaranteed" $6000.00 Grant from the United States Federal Government.
This money was to be used as an aid to help me better my circumstances, i.E. Obtain some training or education, pay medical bills, help with transportation costs, etc.
After my initial, and quite confusing discussion with them, I agreed to their help. I was assurede I could cancel at any time.
Within a day I was quite uncomfortable with the whole idea, did some research and cancelled my agreement with them. I did so via phone and received a "Cancellation Code Number" and their assurances they would not deduct any money from my account to pay their processing fee.
24 hours later, I called again to confirm my cancellation. I was assured I had been canceled. I mailed a USPS priority mail letter to them also demanding cancellation, quoting the Cancellation Code Number and forbidding them to deduct any money from my account.
At the same time, I called, e-mailed and wrote (sig. Req'd) my bank regarding the whole fraudlent process and instructed my bank to pay no amount, under any circumstances, or by any method, to GSI and/or Grant Servces, Inc.
Last night, 10/24, my bank paid GSI $298.00 out of my account.
Asa a disabled person, living on a tiny fixed income, the offer of help is a wonderfull thing. Being ripped-off of a significant portion of my monthly income is a devastating thing.
If anyone can help, please let me know. Please do not let this happen to you.
At this time, the bank is working with me, and attempting to restore my funds.
I am as yet, uncertain as to outcome.
This has been a crushing learning experience. Please tell everyone about GSI and their preying on the weakest and most vulnerable portion of our society.
