Ripoff

I went to the bank to try and stop the charges from coming out of my account. They informed me that there was nothing they could do until the charges had posted. Once the charges are posted then I can come in in fill out paperwork about fraud. And then they would investigate. And then I could cancel the account, but if they try to debit the old account again then the account will be reactivated, and then I will be charged overdraft charges. So it's like well what do I do.

Do I keep the account and pray that they don't try to take extra money? Or Do I cancel that account and risk getting overdraft charges?

The sad part about it is because these company's know that what they are doing is wrong but they don't care. But the one who laughs last laughs the hardest.
