Anchor Pacifica Companies, 60 day notice to Seniors and Single residents. Ripoff

This company took over our building three months ago and decided to raise the rents of all residents by $500.00 a month more and get rid of all Senior citizens and single residents with a 60 day notice to leave. People have lived in our apts for years with modest increases but this company has gone too far. They never call people back for repairs, they built an ugly gate which does not work, the place now looks like a prison. The new security gate is never locked and now more strangers wander in and out everyday.

They did not have the courage to give the residents notice to leave personally, instead they creeped around in the morning and served people taping notices on the doors. They did not give the residents a choice to stay by paying the extra rent which some have said they would pay but Anchor never reponds to phone calls.

IS THIS AMERICA? I'm not sure anymore. I'm a tax paying citizen, who has fought america's wars for this? I find a place to lay my head and now I'm thrown out because I'm single or a senior? Where is the justice? Maybe I should just go away and die somewhere, not a chance.
