Major scam Ripoff

Somehow they called my cell phone one day and asked if i was interested in getting a VISA with a credit line of $2000. Being a student and needing the phone for books, a laptop and stuff like that i accepted. I reluctantly gave out my acount number and they then told me that a deposit of $200 was needed to get the card. I sorta found it suspicious but since the guy (i think his name was joseph) assured i would get the money back in 4 $50 vouchers each month for 4 months. He split it to where i would pay $50 first and then $150 later.

After the total of $200 was taken out i received a letter asking for a voided check and copy of my license. Sent that back to them and soon afetr i got a folder with a merchandize card.

Turned out that there is no Visa card that they promoted. The next day i went to the bank and got the number to fraudelent activity. I called them and they said they would look into it and that i needed to sign an affidavit and return it if i wanted my money back. They told me all of this after i explained my story just as i am explaining it now.

The affidavit came and i signed it and there was only a part that said that i had never heard of the company. Since it was the only part to sign on and the bank said to sign it and return it or not get my money, i mailed it back.

Half a month later, i am at work in the morning and freedom financial calls and rudely calls me a guilty of fraud and perjury claiming i had no right to get my money back and that by mailing my voided check and sending a copy of my license i did have knowledge of their company. I said that i did not know it was for a merchandize card and that i was told it was for a visa that could be used anywhere. He rudely told me that regardless of what i heard i signed a paper agreeing to a merchandize card which i have no recolection of and that i had one week to reverse the refund or i would be charged with perjury and fraud.

What should i do? Reverse the refund or just let it go and hope they don't press charges? Can they even charge with that? I really need some advice so please someone get back to me.
